Tigers weather forecast for Friday, weekend

Sunny, cool Friday with some weekend rain

DETROIT – Play ball! The weather will make for a wonderful day at Comerica Park for fans with their favorite Tigers jacket, hat and glove. Friday morning will be chilly with lows in the low 30s. The game starts at 1:08 p.m. with the first pitch and temps in the low and mid 40s. Afternoon highs will be near 50 by the final out. The wind will blow from the north-northwest at 10 to 15 mph. That means it'll blow toward center field and in the pitcher's face.

Friday night will be partly cloudy and chilly with lows in the low 30s.

Saturday will become cloudy but milder with highs in the low 50s. The 4 p.m.  The Tigers and Yankees game may have some scattered rain by the 7th inning, but the contest will likely be completed.

Sunday will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy, mild with scattered afternoon showers. Another 1 p.m. game will probably start on time.
