Monday morning lows into the single digits to low teens

An approaching storm will bring snow chances to the area

DETROIT – Temps will climb into the low and mid 20s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies this afternoon.

Overnight partial clearing will bring Tuesday morning lows into the single digits to low teens.

And most of the day tomorrow is dry until we get into the evening hours.

An approaching storm will bring snow chances to the area by 6pm and beyond. Before the snow, increasing clouds and highs in the mid 20s Tuesday. Snow will get heavier later Tuesday night and early Wednesday.

The computer model data is still not aligned and the snow range late Tuesday through early Wednesday is 3-6" of fresh snow.

Many model updates are still to come and we will keep you updated. There is a potential for even heavier snow mounting to more than 6" through this midweek snow event and it doesn't look like any rain or sleet will mix in this time.

Highs will be in the mid 20s again Wednesday which will be followed by another Arctic Chill starting Thursday.
