Wall of rain moving towards metro Detroit

Expect a few light showers in the area by 8 or 9am

DETROIT –  A few spotty showers around early this Tuesday morning, otherwise we are cloudy and mild.

Radar is filling in across SW Lower Michigan and a wall of rain will move across Metro Detroit later today.

Expect a few light showers in the area by 8 or 9am especially in our western suburbs.

Most of the rain and scattered thundershowers will start around 11am or noon and last through most of the afternoon.

Download the Local4casters app and take the radar with you if you plan on being outdoors today. Highs will try and reach 80 degrees, but the rain cooled air will keep us mainly in the 70s today with winds SW 6-12 mph.

Cooler winds and a cool front will bring slightly cooler conditions tomorrow with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s.

We will likely see a few scattered showers in the afternoon Wednesday along that cool front as it slowly pushes through the area tomorrow.

Thursday and Friday look mainly dry, although the models show a few light showers possible as clouds occasionally thicken from time to time.

But temps will be getting very comfortable in the mid to upper 70s again to end the work week. Get your complete 7 Day forecast on clickondetroit.com and on the Weather links:
