Highs in the 80s again

DETROIT -

Afternoon temps rise to the low and middle 80s. Anyone going to Ford Arts, Beats and Eats in Royal Oak, the Detroit Jazz Festival in Detroit or the Michigan State Fair in Novi will need to drink plenty of water and make sure there is enough of it for everyone to stay healthy and comfy. Using sunscreen is a good idea, too.

There is a chance of isolated afternoon and evening showers and storms. Best chance of rain is after 4pm as evening temps fall back into the 70s. Tigers take on the Cleveland at Comerica Park, and rain may be a factor. Local 4 News and the weather page of ClickOnDetroit.com have the latest radar for you to track any shower activity.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy and mild with lows in the upper 60s.

Sunday is another good day to go to the pool, but listen to the lifeguard when storms are around. That's right. Another round of storms is possible Sunday afternoon and evening. High temperatures will be near 85 degrees.

Labor Day Monday will have lingering showers in the morning. The afternoon will be drier and warm, but the mercury will climb only to about 80 degrees.
