DETROIT – A very mild morning around SE Michigan with partly cloudy skies and temps in the 40s.
Monday afternoon will be nice and warm as temps climb into the low and mid 70s with a slow and steady flow of increasing clouds.
We will see a few scattered showers in the Thumb Region by mid afternoon or slightly later.
But, rain and isolated thunder chances will hold off until this evening around most of Metro Detroit.
Warmer winds help us warm up SW 5-12 mph. Wet weather will hold off until 8 or 9pm and beyond.
Scattered rain and thunder are expected through the evening hours and overnight into early Tuesday.
This is a cold front prompting rain and thunder chances and it will cool us off tomorrow.
Temperatures will dip about 20 degrees tomorrow with highs only in the mid to maybe upper 50s.
The cooler winds will become stronger throughout the day tomorrow NW 10-20 mph gusting close to 30 mph at times.
Wednesday and Thursday will be dry and staying a bit cooler.
Highs will range from the mid 50s to near 60° midweek.
The next good chance for rain will be Thursday night into Friday.
This is another cold front that will keep temps on the cool side heading into and through the weekend.
