Warm weather on tap for Wednesday

Look for a mix of sun and clouds

Temperatures struggled yesterday with stubborn clouds and lacking winds. By the time the clouds broke and the warm winds kicked in, it was late in the afternoon and too late for upper 70s.

We will have more sunshine today making the upper 70s to near 80 degrees more likely for highs today.

Look for a mix of sun and clouds to become mostly sunny into the afternoon with light winds West 5-10 mph.  We have rain and isolated thundershowers moving in tomorrow.

Right now, it looks like late morning to early afternoon for the onset and the showers may linger into the early evening is some parts.

Highs will be in the mid 70s tomorrow with slightly warmer temps where clouds are thinner and rain is absent.

Again, rain and thunder likely Thursday in the middle of the day.

Friday may start out a bit wet and foggy, but we should see a mostly dry day.

Models call for a few light showers north towards Central Lower Michigan by Friday evening.   A strong cold front will be moving in this weekend.  That means a few scattered light showers possible during the day but a better chance for rain and thunder after sunset Saturday as the front moves in.  Sunday will be noticeably cooler as a result.
