Warm winds keep Friday temps near 70

It's finally Friday and the weather will cooperate for most of the day with temperatures reaching near 70 degrees through the afternoon. Warmer winds continue today from the southwest 10-17 mph with stronger gusts at times. But some big changes are on the way and it will start later tonight. Expect scattered rain showers to start late evening with more steady rain chances south of I-94. That rain will usher in cooler air for the weekend.

We'll see a few scattered showers Saturday as temperatures will struggle to even reach 60 degrees. Winds will shift from the southwest to the northwest and any rain should be quick moving and light. Sunday will be dry but cool with a start near 40 degrees and highs near 60 if we're lucky. In fact, it will be in the 50s most of the weekend. When do we warm again?
