Big changes are coming after an absolutely gorgeous Saturday in Southeast Michigan.
Rain is moving in late Saturday through the overnight and the latest radar returns are casting a one to two inch rainfall for us overnight.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for all areas south of I-69. So, Metro Detroit will see localized flooding Sunday Morning due to heavy rain and melting snow. Low lying areas, rivers, and streams are the prime concern although many areas (like Hines Dr. in Dearborn for instance) will see flooded streets.
The other story is dropping temperatures on Sunday. We'll start in the 40s but drop into the 30s with wind chills in the 20s by late afternoon.
The rain should be much lighter by mid-morning and there could be some wet snowflakes through the afternoon.
Winter is back! Looking long term… we will stay with cold weather with periodic snow through the end of the month.
