Watch: Funnel clouds spotted in Monroe County, possible tornado touchdown

MILAN, Mich. – Monroe County Central Dispatch confirmed sightings of a funnel cloud formation adding it appears a tornado has possibly touched down near US-23 and Cone Road in Milan.

Video footage sent from a viewer shows the funnel forming in the sky near Dennison road in Milan. 

Residents said tornado sirens could be heard in the area.

The Director of Emergency Management in Monroe County said two funnel clouds were spotted by public safety with one spotted on the north end and the second on the south end of the area.

No reports of damage at this time.
