Lowering dewpoint temperatures means drier air moving into our area tonight, giving us much more comfortable sleeping weather.
You’d better cherish the next two-to-three nights, because things will get steamy again as we move into the weekend. Lows tonight in the upper 50s to low 60s, with a very light north wind.

Partly cloudy (especially in the afternoon) on Thursday, with highs near 80. Light and variable wind. Becoming mostly clear Thursday night, with lows near 60.
Mostly sunny on Friday…a great day to end the work week! Highs in the low 80s. Mostly clear Friday night, with lows in the low 60s.
Partly cloudy on Saturday, with continued warming. Highs solidly into the mid 80s. The muggies make a return starting Saturday night, with lows only falling to near 70 by morning.
Then, get ready for a broken record, as Sunday through Tuesday all feature partly cloudy skies with at least a chance of thunderstorms. More notably will be the heat and humidity, with daytime highs in the upper 80s to near 90, and overnight lows in the low 70s. Those of you without air conditioning will find this to be a pretty tough stretch of weather.
It appears that relief from the heat and humidity will arrive on Wednesday.
