Wet start, warm finish Tuesday

Tuesday morning begins stormy early, then dries

DETROIT – People with a little early pep in their step following the Memorial Day Weekend will content with pre-dawn showers and thunderstorms.  It will be warm with temps near 70 degrees.  Showers will move away during the middle and end of the AM rush hour; mainly after 8am.  Tuesday afternoon will be mostly cloudy to partly sunny and warm (not as hot as Memorial Day) with highs near 85 degrees.

Tuesday night will be the beginning of a major cooling off period with fair skies and a northwest breeze.  Lows will be in the low and middle 50s.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and mild with highs near 70.  Wednesday night will be chillier with lows in the 40s.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, but highs will only be in the cool 60s.  Friday remains cool with more clouds, rain and highs barely above 60 degrees.  The weekend will gradually become milder.
