DETROIT -

Wet weather will leave Detroit and Southeast Michigan Saturday night. It will be mild and become partly cloudy overnight with lows in the 60s.

Sunday morning will be filled with blue skies, and it will be mostly sunny in the afternoon. Pro football takes center stage as the Detroit Lions open their season at 1 p.m. against division rivals, the Minnesota Vikings, at Ford Field. Sunday afternoon will be mostly sunny and mild with highs near 75.

It becomes warmer again early next week with more sunshine. Monday will have highs near 80 degrees. Some parts of Southeast Michigan may make it to near 90 on Tuesday.
