DETROIT – Wind chill advisories for southeast Michigan have expired, but the dangerous cold will keep a tight grip on the area all day long.
Eventually, air temps make it to10 degrees above zero, but with west winds 10-20 mph, at times be prepared for subzero wind chills through Wednesday morning.
Cold sunshine will mix with periodic lake effect clouds trying to drop a few snowflakes.
It's a good time to check on your elderly friends and family to make sure the heat is where it needs to be.
It will be only a bit warmer Wednesday with morning wind chills -5 to -15 and afternoon highs getting into the mid-teens.
You should expect a few light snow showers through the middle of the day but not much in the way of accumulation.
