Winter Storm Watch issued for Saturday night in SE Michigan counties

Wayne, Washtenaw, Monroe, Lenawee counties under watch beginning Saturday night

DETROIT – A Winter Storm Watch will be in effect beginning late Saturday night and lasting through Sunday night in Wayne, Washtenaw, Monroe and Lenawee counties.

According to the National Weather Service, moderate to occasionally heavy snow is expected beginning Saturday night and persisting until after midnight Sunday night. Potential accumulations greater than 6 inches are expected with the potential for around 8 inches near the Ohio border.
