DETROIT – A few early morning drips and/or wet snowflakes ending by 5 or 6am Wednesday morning as early temps all across Metro Detroit are all above freezing.
The clouds will hang around most of the day with only a few breaks here and there. Highs will be in the 40 degree range with upper 30s north of Detroit and some areas hanging in the low 40s this afternoon with manageable winds SW 6-12 mph.
Thursday looks like an absolute gem here in SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario. We start near freezing as clouds finally start to thin and clear out through the morning. Afternoon sun and clouds with highs in the mid to upper 40s and a few areas may see 50 degrees tomorrow. Again, winds are light SW 5-10 mph.
We may start the Meridian Winter Blast downtown Detroit with a few spotty showers. The event opens at 4pm and the showers now look to be racing through around lunchtime and only scattered, light showers through the afternoon and evening. Temps will again be in the mid 40s even with spotty showers around to end the work and school week.
Metro Detroit may see 50 degrees Saturday, Sunday, and Monday! We’ll see some showers though, especially Sunday into Monday. Saturday will be mostly cloudy but mostly dry, and Sunday only brings a few scattered showers. The lion’s share of the wet weather is Sunday night into Monday. You can stay ahead of the rain and when the cold returns with the Local4Casters app and take the weather with you.
