CEW at U-M Presents: Laverne Cox - In Ms. Cox's lecture, titled "Ain't I a Woman: My Journey to Womanhood," she will be sharing her experiences as a trans woman of color and her work as an international advocate for human rights and gender equality. (6 p.m., Rackham Graduate School)
Introduction to DSLR Photography with George Borel - In this class, Borel will cover the basics of digital photography, helping you to understand the physics of photography, so you can start taking more control of your photos. (6:30 p.m., CameraMall)
Town Hall Meeting: Artwork for Manhole Covers - The Ann Arbor Art Center has been chosen to manage the selection of artwork to be produced on manhole covers throughout the city. Join the center for a meeting to learn more about this inspiring project. (6:30 a.m., Ann Arbor Art Center)
