Pitch Club Ann Arbor - Pitch club is a unique mentoring and funding program hosted across the state of Michigan with ongoing monthly events that provide entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn from seasoned entrepreneurs and investors. The events are meant to educate, network, inspire and provide valuable experiences for being investable. (5 p.m., SPARK) 

Holiday Rim Fire Pistol Steel Plate League - Come to A3 and shoot rim fire steel plates in a friendly competitive pistol league. (5 p.m., Ann Arbor Arms) 

Poetry & Fiction Party - Come celebrate the submissions and winners of Current Magazine's Poetry and Fiction contest with this free event. Meet Current's editor and contributors, and hear readings from the winners. Special guests Molly Raynor and Anthony Zick will be reading their work, as well. (7 p.m., Literati Bookstore) 

Meet Detroit Journalist Drew Philp for a Discussion & Signing - Drew Philp's work has been published both nationally and internationally and has appeared in publications including BuzzFeed, The Detroit Free Press, Metrotimes, Corp! Magazine, the Bakersfield Californian and the Michigan Daily. He lives in Detroit with his dog, Gratiot. "A $500 House in Detroit" is his first book. (7 p.m., Nicola's Books)
