A4 Minutes Episode 2: Spellbound founder talks augmented reality app for children undergoing medical treatment

ANN ARBOR – In a new video series, A4 producer Meredith Bruckner sits down with women leaders, innovators and influencers in tech in Ann Arbor. 

In this episode, she interviews Spellbound founder Christina York at popular Cuban eatery Frita Batidos in downtown Ann Arbor. Spellbound is an interactive augmented reality platform that helps children while they receive medical treatment. 

The app amazes and distracts, spellbinding its users, and helps them escape temporarily to another world while receiving IVs and undergoing other painful procedures.
