Ann Arbor-based startup Forever Labs receive national attention last month after presenting at Y Combinator's 2017 Summer Demo Days part 1.
The company got attention from TechCrunch, MedCity News and others for its plans to store people's stem cells when they're younger to treat aging-related diseases as they get older. Research suggests younger stems cells are better at fighting disease than older stem cells.
Forever Labs was founded by CEO Steven Clausnitzer, President Mark Katakowski and Chief Management Officer Edward Cibor (see all company executives here). TechCrunch profiled the company in August:
Y Combinator, based in Mountain View, Calif., is a prestigious startup incubator that's helped launch hundreds of tech companies, including Twitch, Reddit, Dropbox and Instacart, among others.
