ANN ARBOR - Former AOL CEO and founder of investment firm Revolution LLC Steve Case will be visiting Ann Arbor on Wednesday as part of his Rise of the Rest Road Trip.

The tour is a nationwide initiative to invest in companies in emerging startup cities. Over a span of five days, the Rise of the Rest team visits five cities. During each tour, Steve Case personally invests $500,000 in local companies.

Here in Ann Arbor, fewer than 10 companies were selected to pitch to Case and his team, after they sifted through hundreds of applications.
