DETROIT - The Detroit Tigers will be visiting the North American International Auto Show Friday afternoon around 3 p.m.

It's a chance for fans to see some of their favorite players, as well as team managers and the team mascot PAWS.

It's part of the Tigers annual Winter Caravan. They will be making stops throughout the city. Their visit to the auto show will include participation in a special parade on the main show floor and an interactive Q & A session at the General Motors display.

"We are thrilled to get the 2014 Winter Caravan rolling and meet fans throughout the state of Michigan, Northwest Ohio and into Canada," said Elaine Lewis, vice president of Community and Public Affairs for the Tigers. "We have added new stops and we are revisiting destinations with electric atmospheres that our players, manager and coaching staff are certain to enjoy. We are excited to warm up these cold winter months with the excitement that only a new baseball season can bring."
