Ford CEO Mark Fields announces investment in electric, autonomous vehicles

Ford Motor Company CEO Mark Fields announced Tuesday at the Flat Rock Assembly plant that it will invest $700 million in the plant and $4.5 billion in electrified and autonomous vehicles.

Fields said the company will use the investment in the Flat Rock Assembly plant "to create a factory capable of producing high-tech electrified and autonomous vehicles."
