Shelby Township's largest manufacturer to break ground on $61.2 million auto parts facility

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – International auto supplier, Grupo Antolin of Spain, will break ground on a plant that will produce, assemble, and sequence door panels and overhead systems for the 2019 Dodge Ram Truck Wednesday.

This is part of the company's $61.2 million planned investment.

The project will create more than 430 new jobs, marking the largest program and investment  the Spanish auto interior parts supplier has ever carried out in its 25-year history in North America.

The new facility will make Antolin Shelby (a subsidiary of Grupo Antolin) the largest manufacturer and employer in Shelby Township.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. at the company's office building on Shelby Parkway.
