Events in Berkley, Bloomfield Twp, Ferndale, Pontiac, & Royal Oak to unofficially kick off the Dream Cruise

DETROIT – The big one is Saturday, August 17 but that doesn't mean you have to wait until then for the fun to start. There's plenty of things going on Friday. Here's a rundown of events happening around Metro Detroit.

Berkley:

6pm-9pm Kid's Inflatable Zone --12 Mile Road & Tyler

6:30pm-7:30pm Berkley's Annual Classic Car Parade --12 Mile Road between Coolidge & Greenfield

7:30pm-9pm Tri-Community Coalition Street Dance

5:30pm-8pm Dream Drive -- An opportunity to take a spin in a replica of a Shelby Cobra, Daytona Coupe or a GT40 on the night before the Woodward Dream Cruise.
