DETROIT – Free Christmas trees were given to Detroit residents Wednesday at the Northwest Precinct.
An anonymous donor from Orchard Lake gave 26 trees to the precinct.
Police officers identified families in need. Those families were invited to the precinct where officers carried the trees out to their vehicles.
