DETROIT – The United State Postal Service posted holiday hours Wednesday.
Metro Detroit Post Offices will be open Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, but most will shorten lobby hours by closing at noon.

The USPS said mail delivery is not affected by the change.
Revised hours will be posted at each offices. Commercial customers should check their bulk mail acceptance unit for Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 operation hours. Some offices will close at 3 p.m. and the Jackson Finance Station will close at 2 p.m.
All Post Offices will be closed Christmas and New Year's days. Only express mail will be delivered Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Regular hours continue Tuesday and Jan. 3.
