Police, firefighters can sing way to 10,000 grant for their station

Police, firefighters have 1 week left to enter Comerica's Home of the Brave National Anthem singing contest

DETROIT – Police and firefighters in Southeast Michigan, who have a hidden signing talent, can put their voice to the test and enter to win their station a $10,000 grant.

There is only one week left for those who serve and protect to enter Comerica's Home of the Brave National Anthem singing contest.

One police officer of firefighter will win a chance to sing the National Anthem at the Sept. 22 Detroit Tigers Game at Comerica Park

The winning singer will also receive 40 tickets to the game so friends and family can proudly watch.

In addition, the winning contestant's police or fire station will receive a $10,000 grant from Comerica Bank.

Singers must be 18 years or older and must be member of a police or fire department in Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw or Wayne County.
