Program in Novi offers free lunch for students

NOVI, Mich. – The city of Novi is launching it's "Feed the Need Summer Lunch Program" Wednesday. The program provides free lunches to students who would regularly have their lunches paid for during the school year.

Every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Village Oaks Elementary School, students can grab some food as well participate in organized activities. The program runs for 9 weeks.

If you're looking for free lunches in your area, check this out. The United States Department of Agriculture has set up a website that locates programs and services giving out free meals for students 18 and under.
