'Mixtapes & Pancakes' brings music, art and charity together

Event kicks off this Saturday

DETROIT – Mixtapes & Pancakes is returning to Detroit this weekend in the popular New Center community.

The event brings together local musicians, business owners and creative professionals. This is the fifth installment of the festival-style event.

Aside from music, attendees can expect some great networking, vendors, food and culture.

Mixtapes and Pancakes was founded in 2011 by the ladies of Creatively Dangerous Minds, LLC. The event has seen some of the best Detroit talent, business owners and vendors.

Passionate about educating and helping Detroiters, this year, donations collected will benefit Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit. Founded in 1992, Mosaic annually provides accessible acting and singing training for hundreds of youth in over 50 Metro Detroit schools.
