Runners brave frigid temps in annual Cupid's Undie Run
DETROIT – The Cupid’s Undie Run event was held Saturday and the cold temperatures were bitter.
More than 1,200 runners braved the frigid cold for a 1-mile run in their underpants and Valentine’s-themed attire for the fourth annual event.
The run raises funds and awareness for neurofibromatosis through the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
Runners met at the Flimore prior to the event.
In 2015, the run raised $280,000 making it the third-largest fundraiser out of 38 participating cities.
