Local 4 has been covering Arts, Beats & Eats since 2002 and, after going through the vault, we've compiled our special coverage of the annual festival.
The festival began in 1997 to celebrate the quality of life in Oakland County.
The Labor Day Weekend festival moved from its former location in Pontiac to Royal Oak in 2009.
Past music performers invlude Brian McKnight, Montgomery Gentry, Live, The B52's, Wilco, The Isley Brothers, Collective Soul, Paul Rodgers of Bad Company, Martina McBride, G Love & Special Sauce, David Benoit, Jodee Messina, Blues Traveler, 38 Special, and Rick Springfield.
To date, over $4.5 million has been raised by the Arts, Beats & Eats Foundation and donated to charity.
Unfortunately the Arts, Beats & Eats specials from 2008, 2009 and 2010 are currently missing from our archives. Once we locate them, they will be added to this collection.
