Barnes & Noble will hold a costume contest Saturday at location nationwide

DETROIT - Barnes & Noble wants to reward its customers with the most magical costume this weekend at a special event being held at stores nationwide.

This Saturday, the retail chain is hosting a Halloween costume contest and scavenger hunt as part of its year long series of events called "Celebrate more Harry Potter with Pottermore."

Children ages seven to 16 should arrive dressed as their favorite harry potter character for a chance to win prizes, including a nook simple touch reader.
