Detroit's River Days announces musical acts

General motors to sponsor riverfront event

DETROIT - General Motors will be playing the role as title sponsor for the River Days festival in downtown Detroit.

The festival, put on by the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy, is scheduled for June 21st through June 23rd along Detroit's RiverWalk.

Organizers also announced Thursday that musical acts will feature The Guess Who, The O'Jays and George Clinton & the P-Funk All Stars. They'll play Friday, Saturday, Sunday respectively.

Local bands SuperLast, Soul Preacha's featuring Marcus Cole & Mark A'lleven and The Infatuations who get to perform on the Michigan Lottery Stage.

Admission will be $3 ($5 after 5 p.m.)
