Free transportation to DIA offered to Oakland County residents

Free transportation to the DIA will be available to Oakland County residents on April 29.

DETROIT – Oakland county residents can enjoy a day at the Detroit Institute of Arts with free bus transportation April 29.

The DIA hosts two County Days twice a year for residents in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties.

Buses pick up and drop off at five locations throughout the county. The sites will include places to park.

The buses and entrance to the museum are free, but tickets must be reserved here.

The DIA is always free to residents of Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties.

Bus pick up and drop off locations and times:

Farmington City Hall, 23600 Liberty St.

Bus departs city hall at 10 a.m.; leaves DIA at 3 p.m.

 

Novi Civic Center, 45175 Ten Mile Rd.

Bus departs civic center at 10 a.m.; leaves DIA at 3 p.m.

 

Auburn Hills Community Center, 1827 N. Squirrel Rd.

Bus departs community center at 9:30 a.m.; ,leaves DIA at 2:30 p.m.

 

Clarkston Independence Library, 6495 Clarkston Rd.

Bus departs library at 9:30 a.m.; leaves DIA at 2:30 p.m.

 

Downtown Milford, 101 Oak St.

Bus departs Milford at 9:30 a.m.; leaves DIA at 2:30 p.m.
