WARREN, Mich. - Gardner-White Furniture is expanding to new locations around metro Detroit and needs to hire 100 people to fill sales staff positions, plus a variety of other full and part-time opportunities.  

To accomplish this, the family-owned, Michigan-based chain of furniture showrooms will host a job fair Monday, August 6 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at its soon-to-open Auburn Hills store, located at 445 North Atlantic Blvd. (off of Brown Road, east of Joslyn Road).

Stores will also open in Bloomfield Hills and Novi, according to Gardner-White President Steve Tracey.

"We've been very lucky, our business has been growing for the last three years here in Detroit," Tracey tells Local 4. "We see the Detroit economy coming back..."

Immediate interviews will be available for all open positions.  Opportunities include sales, customer service, drivers, furniture assemblers, warehouse, service technicians, office support, stock and housekeeping.
