DETROIT - The Detroit Historical Society is hosting a scavenger hunt designed to test participants' knowledge of the Motor City's historic and cultural landmarks.
The 313 Scavenger Hunt is to be held on Saturday. It gets under way at the Hard Rock Cafe Detroit at noon.
Participants can register as a team of three to five people, or solo and be paired with a team. Contestants are asked to contribute a $10 suggested donation per person.
Scavenger hunters are to be released into the city with an envelope of clues and a 313 Scavenger Hunt passport, which must be stamped by a scavenger hunt staff member at each landmark.
The first three teams to find all the landmarks and return are to be recognized with an assortment of prizes.
