You first met Lavonne Thomas on Feb. 10 when we featured this mother of five while she was overcoming a brain tumor. We're happy to share some good news about Lavonne from her mother, Barbara Littles. Here's the message she sent:
Good Afternoon Evrod!
Finally, Lavonne & Leon had their date night this past Saturday. They thoroughly enjoyed their massages, and I cannot thank you enough for making their date night happen!
Today, Lavonne went to her neurosurgeon for her MRI, and I want to share with you what she posted on her Facebook page:
"Guess who cried happy tears in front of the neurosurgeon today?
This has been the longest process ever. But thank you JESUS - My brain scans are clean!! NO tumors. NO diseases. Nothing but a healing brain.
Fighting the good fight of faith is more than a notion. Some days you're feeling like a Boss. And other days you're feeling like it's over. But my anchor scripture was/is, "I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord."
I'm still here. It's by the grace of God.
Now, lift those hands and tell da Lawd THANK YA!! Glory to God!!
