This year’s speakers also include Tony Fadell, Jeffrey Sellers, Daniel Okrent, Shawn Ward and Allee Willis.

Tom Wilson, president and CEO of Olympia Entertainment, is expected to speak Thursday morning. Wilson is expected to talk about the development and strategy for the Detroit Red Wings new stadium and his continued plans for development in Detroit.

Mayor Mike Duggan is expected to talk about the future of Detroit’s children.

The event continues through the weekend. In its third year, Detroit expats have pledged more than $260 million in investments for projects and businesses in the city.
