According to security firm PC Tools, there are certain words and phrases to watch out for that can be read flags.

One is congratulations, no matter what the e-mail says the iPad is not free and you probably have not won a trip to the Bahamas.

Another is work from home, scammers know many people would love to work from home, but treat those offers very cautiously.

The words risk-free can also be misleading, usually they're attached to an offer that is the exact opposite.

In addition, the word stocks can be problematic if it is attached to an offer or a once in a lifetime investment.
