"We are the only event in the area that is invitation only," says Jim McCarter, executive director of the Concours d'Elegance, "A committee of 30 experts chose the cars and invite them -- no 2 cars are alike. Only special cars are invited."

The total field of cars will reach a value exceeding $10 million.

McCarter adds that not only does it acknowledge the automotive history of our area, but it's, "a great place for industry people to meet and exchange ideas."

The event itself is on Sunday, July 28 from 10am-4pm but there's other events leading up to it. The RM Vintage Motor Cars Auction is on Saturday, July 27 from 11am-4pm. Both are part of Autopalooza.
