DETROIT – Beginning Tuesday the Health Insurance Marketplace will list the plans available under the Affordable Care Act.
Americans who are uninsured or who do not get their health insurance through an employer will be able to price and compare the plans online.
Local 4 knows people might have a lot of questions and wants to provide you a resource to get those questions answers.
Monday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. the Local 4 phone bank will be open to take calls. We will also have a web chat during that same time period on ClickOnDetroit.com.

According to healthcare.gov in every state, people are being trained and certified to help people understand their options in the online marketplace. They will be referred to as Navigators, Application Assisters, Certified Application Counselors and Government Agencies. Insurance agents and brokers can also help consumers. According to the Michigan Department of Community Health, four groups have been awarded grants to provide assistance in Michigan. They are the agencies Michigan residents should contact for assistance.
