Playtex recalls electric breast pump
Potential electric shock warning issued for new mothers
The risk of an electric shock will have plenty of new mothers checking their breast pumps.
Playtex has announced a voluntary recall of certain AC/DC power adapters used with the Playtex Nurser Deluxe Double Electric Breast Pump.
It says the casing on some adapters may become loose and separate, resulting in the potential for electric shock. Consumers should immediately discontinue use of the adapter if it shows signs of separating.
Playtex says no injuries have been reported, and the recall is being done out of an abundance of caution.
