Starbucks rolls out higher prices, new drink

Good news, bad news from Starbucks

NEW YORK – Hold onto your wallets.
Starbucks is raising prices and expanding it's menu starting Tuesday.

Customers will start paying 5 to 20 cents more for their daily cup of Joe. Customers can also soon expect to pay $1 more for the packaged coffee sold in supermarkets. It's move following a similar hike by the coffee chain's competitors.

In addition to prices, Fizzio Handcrafted Sodas will join the designer coffee menu. The sodas will be made by baristas at more than 3,000 locations in the U.S. They'll come in three different flavors root beer, ginger ale, lemon ale. All caffeine free. But the sodas will come with premium prices. A "tall" will run about $2.45. (A "tall" coffee goes for about $1.80.)
