The Kellogg Company is recalling several batches of its Special K Red Berries cereal because they might be contaminated with pieces of glass.
The company calls the recall precautionary, because glass was found in a single batch of one of the ingredients. The company says it has no reports of anyone getting hurt at this time. The recall is limited to Red Berries type of Special K.

* Regular retail packages, weighing 11.2 ounces, with the UPC code "38000 59923" on them and the date of Dec. 2, 2013.
* Club store packages weighing 37 ounces, with the UPC code "38000 20940" on them and the date of Nov. 30, 2013.
* Twin pack boxes weighing 22.4 ounces, with the UPC code "38000 78356" on them and the date of Nov. 30, 2013.
What to Do
If you find any of that cereal in your pantry, you should contact Kellogg's. You call the consumer center at 800-962-1413, or visit the "contact us" area of the company's website. The company says it will provide coupons to replace the cereal, and may make arrangements for it to be returned for examination.
