When it comes to jelly beans, one flavor reigns supreme. 

According to CandyStore.com, black licorice flavored jelly beans are the most popular in America.

Using the CandyStore.com jelly bean sales data from the last nine years and SurveyMonkey and Facebook polls of over 10,000 candy fans, we ranked the most loved jelly bean flavors in all 50 states and the 32 most popular flavors nationally (weighting sales and survey data at 90/10 respectively).

Coming in behind black licorice was buttered popcorn, watermelon, cherry and then cinnamon, to round out the top five.

They also ranked by state. Michigan's most popular jelly bean flavor is also black licorice.

Black licorice was one of the original Jelly Belly jelly bean flavors back in the 1970s and still reins supreme to this day.
