YPSILANTI, Mich. – As more than 3,300 new students prepare to start classes at Eastern Michigan University, the campus will host a three-day Fusion Extravaganza to welcome them along with parents.
Event organizers say President Susan Martin will ride her green bicycle around campus, greeting students and their families.
Alumni volunteers and athletes will also be on hand to help as students move into their residence hall.
Fusion events start on September 1st and go beyond student orientation with a host of other activities.
