DETROIT - Ann Arbor has a lot of bookworms, according to a new list by Amazon.com.
The online company on Tuesday released its annual list of 20 of the "Most Well-Read Cities in America," and Ann Arbor has landed the No. 4 spot.
It comes in behind Berkeley, Calif., at No. 3, Cambridge, Mass., at No. 2 and Alexandria, Va., tops the list at No. 1.
The ranking was determined by compiling sales data of all book, magazine and newspaper sales in both print and Kindle format since June 1, 2011, on a per capita basis in cities with more than 100,000 residents.
