Disney fan theories are not hard to find on the internet -- but this particular one is catching steam among Disney fans.

Tumblr user Disneymom unveiled a new fan theory, that connects Disney's Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.

It basically speculates that The Beast was a promotional stunt for Aladdin. Here's the synopsis of the theory:

If you remember, the scene in Beauty and the Beast where Belle describes her favorite book, then you probably remember the key to this theory.

During the scene, Belle describes a book that features, “Far off places, daring swordfights, magic spells...a prince in disguise! Here's where she meets Prince Charming, but she won’t discover him until chapter three.”

Yes, this sounds like a lot of Disney movies, but it also sounds a lot like Aladdin. Jasmine and Aladdin meet early on, but don't fall in love until later on.

The theory also points to the release dates of the movies. Beauty and the Beast was released on November 22, 1991, and Aladdin on November 25, 1992. Could Disney have wanted to throw a teaser in for their next film?
