Nurse who works in Detroit gets $20,000 on Ellen show
Money will help her pay for grad school
DETROIT – Ellen surprised Maggie Boglitch who works in Detroit and is from Windsor, Canada and asked her to play a game of “Know or Go,” in which she played against her mother and sister.
Maggie is currently a nurse in the Special Care Nursery at St. John’s hospital in Detroit. She works the late shift and loves her job, as she gets to help others. She credits Ellen for being a huge role model and inspiration in her life. Maggie watches the show every day and sets her alarm so she doesn’t miss it before she goes to work. Maggie got engaged a few days ago and she is also about to attend grad school and is struggling to pay for it.
Ellen’s friends at Shutterfly not only surprised Maggie by bringing her sister and mother here, they also gave her a check for $20,000 to help her pay her grad school bills. Shutterfly’s mission is to share life’s joy. Find out more about Shutterfly here
