Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon coming to Nintendo 3DS in November

Here's what your kids maybe asking for this Christmas

Impress your kids today with some big news from the world of Pokemon and Nintendo.

New Pokemon game are coming later this year -- just in time for the holidays, of course.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon for the Nintendo 3DS nd Pokken Tournament DX for the Nintendo Switch are both scheduled for release on Nov. 17.

Here's a trailer for the games, which your Pokemon trainer has probably already seen:

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon (those are two separate games you can buy) are set in an alternate world with new Pokemon never seen before. There was some initial confusion suggesting the game would also be out on the Switch, but Pokemon Company International squelched the report, saying it was merely a typo in a press release.

That's disappointing to gamers ready to move on from the 3DS, but now are probably going to get sucked back in. It's like Nintendo is a company trying to make money on an old device, or something.

Now, go back to being the old person who still plays Pokemon Go.
